For those who can not attend our Easter Sunday Masses
April 17, 2022 - Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord
Mass Celebrant - Cardinal Blase J. Cupich
Live-Streamed at 6 AM on Sunday, April 17
AN ACT OF SPIRITUAL COMMUNION - We invite you to make an Act of Spiritual Communion if you are not attending Mass physically by praying: My Jesus, I believe that You are in the Blessed Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I long for You in my soul. Since I cannot now receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. As though You have already come, I embrace You and unite myself entirely to You; never permit me to be separated from You. AMEN!

RENEW MY CHURCH UPDATES - NEW PARISH
We began a new era for our parish with the inclusion of Our Lady of the Ridge beginning in July 2021. We are extremely optimistic about the future of this ‘new reality'. We have officially begun the union of our parishes from two entities into one.
- THE HOUR OF GREAT MERCY - Please join with other parishioners at three o’clock in the afternoon each day wherever you are, whether at home or school or work, and take a moment to come into the Lord’s presence to pray for the following intention: “For the continued unification process of our parish.”
- THANK YOU TO KIM GEISSLER - We want to thank Kim Geissler for her tireless service as an administrative assistant at Our Lady of the Ridge, and then at St. Linus when our parishes combined. She will be leaving us to become the secretary of the Religious Education program at St. Christina Parish in Chicago. Thank you, Kim, and God Bless!
- FAITH FORMATION - Do you have a heart for faith and service? Want to help shape the lives of the next generation of parishioners? With the retirement of Dr. Cheryl Antos, the Faith Formation program is making some slight changes and is looking for fresh faces and ideas. We are looking for high schoolers / college / adult parish members interested in becoming Catechists (College age and older), or Religious Education aides (High school age and older) - Email: religioused@stlinusschool.org or call 708-636-4373 for more information.
- NEW OFFERTORY ENVELOPES - Effective August 1, 2023, all Our Lady of the Ridge and St. Linus parishioners will receive a new offertory envelope number. With the merging of both faith communities under the Renew My Church initiative, the two parish databases had to be combined as well. With numerous duplicate envelope numbers, it was more efficient and less complicated to assign new envelope numbers to all parishioners. This change will not affect E-Giving contributions.
- OLOR CHURCH SACRISTANS NEEDED - We need a few church sacristans who could assist with the general cleaning of OLOR church and gathering space. Primary responsibilities would be to dust/wipe down the pews, sweep under the pews and to vacuum the carpet. If you are interested, please call Kim at the parish office at 708-422-2400. In a spirit of Stewardship, thank you for your consideration.
Thank you visiting the our Parish Website. Our Lady of the Ridge / St. Linus Parish adheres to the Gospel belief, spoken by Jesus: “Wherever two or three are gathered in my name, I am in the midst of them”. We experience God’s presence in the Holy Scripture, the Sacraments, our community and our service. Welcome All!!
