St. Linus Church sponsors many different parish organizations. For additional information on their meeting dates and times, or for information on joining any of them, please contact the rectory at 708-422-2400. Among the many organizations are:
ST. LINUS ATHLETIC CLUB (SLAC)
St. Linus School / Church provides an active athletic program for its grade school-aged students. We offer football, cheerleading and competitive cheerleading, boys and girls basketball, boys and girls volleyball, and boys and girls soccer teams. All parish children may play on the football, soccer, and cheerleading squads. Basketball, volleyball, and competitive cheerleading squads are restricted to parish school children. Fees are charged for all sports teams. The athletic program is not directly subsidized by the parish and has generously proved extras to the physical parish plant for sports use. It does conduct its own additional fund-raising.
