COMMUNITY!

ATTENTION - MEETING DURING THE SUMMER - Our Knit and Crochet group will meet on WEDNESDAYS for the summer. The dates are June 18, July 2, July 16 and July 30. Mark your calendar and join us!

WE ARE IN NEED OF YARN! - The knitters and crocheters of OLOR-St. Linus are in need of good quality yarn. All items we make are donated to local charities. Please drop off yarn at the rectory or call Angie at 708-422-8078. New Members Welcome!

About our Parish knitters and crocheters - We make hats and scarves in the fall and winter, baby articles in January and February for Pro-Life, and lap robes for nursing homes. The articles are donated to hospitals and nursing homes in our area or wherever there is a need.

We meet in the Cardiff Center (10331 Linus Lane) every other Monday, from 12 Noon to 2 pm. We will supply the yarn and needles. COVID vaccinations and masks are required!

If you know how to knit or crochet or would like to learn, please join us. You don’t have to have a lot of experience, there are ladies there that will help you if you have any questions. We have plenty of yarn so you really only need to bring either your crochet hook or your knitting needles.

We also appreciate donations of unused yarn at any time.

To make this ministry a success, we need your time and talents. For more information call Therese McNicholas at 708-425-5524.
