Sunday, February 21 - First Sunday of Lent

St. Linus Parish offers Mini-Lenten Mission as Broadcast Reflections every week of Lent for our Community. Father Mark is the presenter, and Peg Mooney and Steve Winkler are the musicians. We invite everyone to listen, reflect, remember, return, repent, and renew our trust in God's Love during this season of Lent.

CRS RICE BOWL - LENTEN ALMSGIVING - CRS Rice Bowl is a Catholic Relief Services’ Lenten faith-in-action program for families and faith communities. Through CRS Rice Bowl, we deepen our personal experience of Lent, and hear stories from our brothers and sisters in need worldwide. We devote our Lenten prayers, fasting and gifts to transform our relationship with God and neighbors. Rice Bowls are in the vestibule of the church and in the rectory. Please return them beginning the Fifth Sunday of Lent to the vestibule.

For more information about the program or other ways of how you can participate, please visit archchicago.org/crs-rice-bowl.

Rice Bowls are available as you leave the Church or at the rectory.
Please return the Rice Bowl beginning on March 20-21.

ST. LINUS SEEKING WISDOM PRAYER GROUP

We’re a small group of about a dozen people. We meet for one hour on Tuesdays from 10 to 11 am. in the Cardiff Center. We gather to renew our faith each week and to pray for our needs and the needs of others.

We examine the readings for the upcoming weekend in church and use a guide to help us understand the Scriptures better. Come join us!
