LENTEN STATIONS OF THE CROSS

Fridays - February 20, 27 and March 6, 13, 20, 27, 2026

During Lent, Stations of the Cross will be at 6:30 PM on Fridays at St. Linus Church.
School Stations of the Cross will be at 2:00 PM on Fridays (when school is in session).

CRS Rice Bowls will be available in the vestibule at St. Linus Church
and the gathering space at Our Lady of the Ridge Church.

The CRS Rice Bowl program is a tradition for millions of Catholics in the United States who continue to answer the Gospel call supporting families experiencing hunger around the world. We learn how through prayer, fasting and almsgiving we have the power to make the world a better place. Please take a Rice Bowl home with you today, fill it with your spare change and return it before Holy Week.

LENTEN REGULATIONS

Catholics in good health ages 18 to 59 are required
to fast and to abstain from meat on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday.

Fasting consits of eating only one meal,
with the possibility of two smaller snacks that do not add up to a single full meal.

Catholics age 14 and older are
to abstain from meat on all Fridays in Lent.

Monday through Friday - Communion Services at 6 am and Masses at 7:30 am

- Sunday at 9 am - No Vigil Mass on Saturday
Monday - Mass at 8:30 am
Wednesday - Communion Service at 8:30 am

No Mass or Communion Service on Tuesday or Thursday

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION IN THE CHAPEL - MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

We offer Eucharistic Adoration on Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm in the Jesus, Light of the World Chapel, which is adjacent to St. Linus Church and entrance is from the Parking Lot.

THE ADORATION CHAPEL NEEDS YOU! - Can you commit to one day (Monday to Friday), for one hour (8 am to 4 PM)? - If you can, please contact our Parish Office at 708-422-2400.

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION AT OUR LADY OF THE RIDGE CHURCH - FRIDAYS

We offer time for Eucharistic Adoration on Fridays from 5 pm to 7 pm at Our Lady of the Ridge Church.

The Church and the world have a real need for Eucharistic worship. Jesus awaits in this Sacrament of Love. Let us not refuse the time to meet Him in adoration, in contemplation, full of faith. Let our adoration never cease. - St. John Paul II

ST. LINUS SEEKING WISDOM PRAYER GROUP - TUESDAYS - NO MEETING DURING THE SUMMER

ATTENTION - The Seeking Wisdom Prayer Group that meets on Tuesday at 10 am at St. Linus Site will not be meeting during the summer.

We meet for one hour on Tuesdays from 10 to 11 am in the Cardiff Center. We’re a small group of about a dozen people. We gather to renew our faith each week and to pray for our needs and the needs of others.

We examine the readings for the upcoming weekend in church and use a guide to help us understand the Scriptures better. Come join us!

MARIAN DEVOTIONS AT ST. LINUS AND OUR LADY OF THE RIDGE CHURCHES - WEEKDAY

The rosary is said each weekday after the 7:30 am Mass at St. Linus Church and at 7:45 am before the 8:30 am Mass at Our Lady of the Ridge Church.
