2026-2027 FIRST RECONCILIATION AND FIRST EUCHARIST PREPARATION SCHEDULE

Dear Parents / Guardians,

The parish of Our Lady of the Ridge and St. Linus will assist in preparing your child(ren) to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Eucharist. This special time of God’s outpouring of love and forgiveness is a pivotal time in your child(ren)’s faith formation and we want to be sure your child is fully prepared with understanding before making the sacrament(s). Attendance at class and mass/prayer sessions is very important during this year of preparation. There may be a cause to require make-up learning time, extra projects or postponing a sacrament to assure readiness.

• 2026-2027 First Reconciliation and First Eucharist Parent / Guardian Meeting TBD - Here you will get information to further prepare you and your child(ren) for the upcoming celebrations. Only (1) adult need attend.
• First Reconciliation will be celebrated on Saturday, February 27, 2027 at 9:30 AM at St. Linus Church.
• A Mandatory Communion Retreat for all making the sacrament will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2027 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Linus Church.
• Rehearsal for those making their First Eucharist on May 1, 2027 will take place on Thursday, April 29, 2027 at 6:00 PM at St. Linus Church.
• First Eucharist will be celebrated on Saturday, May 1, 2027 at 11:30 AM at St. Linus Church.
