2022-2023 FIRST RECONCILIATION AND FIRST EUCHARIST PREPARATION SCHEDULE

Dear Parents / Guardians,

Your child(ren) will be preparing to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation / First Eucharist this coming school year. This special sacrament of God’s outpouring love and forgiveness is a pivotal time in your child(ren)’s faith formation. The parish of Our Lady of the Ridge and St. Linus will assist you in this process.

2022-2023 First Reconciliation and First Eucharist Schedule (PDF) - POSTED BELOW!

• Parent / Guardian Meeting - Monday, October 10, 2022 at 7 PM
  ALL Parents meet in St. Linus Church.
  This session is primarily for parents, however children may attend.
• Family Reconciliation Experiences - Sessions will be offered the Week of November 7, 2022
  Parent(s) and Child(ren) will select ONE session to learn about the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
  Details will be shared at the October Meeting.
• First Reconciliation Celebration - Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 9:30 AM in St. Linus Church
  This is a “dress up” event. No “sport team” clothes please. Picture taking while the child is repenting sins to the priest will not be allowed. Photos afterwards will be fine.

  • First Eucharist Parent Meeting - ALL PARENTS
    Monday, January 16, 2023 at 7 PM at St. Linus Church
  • First Eucharist for St. Linus School Students
    Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 11 AM at St. Linus Church
  • First Eucharist for Our Lady of the Ridge - St. Linus RE Students
    Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 1:30 PM at St. Linus Church
  • 3rd Grade and older First Communicants will be given an opportunity to celebrate at a different Mass. Details will be shared at the First Eucharist Meeting in January 2023.
