MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR ABORTED CHILDREN - September 13

On Saturday, September 13th, pro-life Americans throughout the country will gather at the gravesites of aborted babies and other memorial sites dedicated in their honor for the 13th Annual National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children.

Solemn vigils will be held at these sites to commemorate the more than 65 million children who have lost their lives to legal abortion since 1973, and to remind our society of the humanity of the unborn child. The memorial service at St. Mary Cemetery takes place at the gravesite of 500 babies who were discovered and retrieved from the garbage dumpsters of several downtown Chicago abortion facilities in early 1987. It is one of the earliest of the gravesites across the United States. Please join us for the memorial service in our community:

We pray to Jesus,
That unborn children may have the gift of life,
Suffering Christ hear us
That laws be passed to protect the right to life of the unborn,
Suffering Christ hear us
That our nation return to reverence and respect for all life,
Suffering Christ hear us
That God answer the prayers of those women who seek the gift of motherhood,
Suffering Christ hear us
That mothers who are unable to keep their babies choose the gift of adoption,
and give others the chance to share the gift of love,
