Peter's Pence
Collection
July 1-2 at all Masses or Online
The Peter’s Pence Collection has ancient roots that reach all the way back to New Testament times. The early Christians provided material support that the disciples could distribute to those in need (see Acts 4:34-35, 11:29). Today, the Peter’s Pence Collection is the way we, as members of the Catholic Church, unite ourselves to the concerns of the Holy Father.
The Holy Father’s charitable outreach to victims of war, migrants and refugees, and the poor affected by illness and natural disasters is supported by contributions to the Peter’s Pence Collection. When you participate in the collection, you join Catholics across the globe in supporting the pope’s mission of mercy as well as the activities of the Holy See’s dicasteries that assist his ministry. Peter’s Pence Collection is the weekend of July 1-2. Please be as generous as possible in your giving.
