We had our first Annual Mass October 3, 2022 at 7 pm at OLOR with our Youth Vincentians. This year we have 67 in Grades 5th to 8th. Our Youth Vincentians were inducted into the St. Vincent de Paul Society and received pins. The youth group meets twice a month for an hour for a variety of activities: writing letters and cards to local nursing homes and American soldiers, making no-sew blankets for local nursing homes as well as ornaments. Youth Vincentians are also assisting at all our Bundle Days, pumpkin sales and food pantry activities. November and December our youth group will be collecting at the Jewel on 103rd and Cicero for SVdP. With the money collected, the Jewel will purchase Thanksgiving meals for those in need.
