Our 3rd Grade Students did a Thanksgiving Book Project.
They read a biography of a famous person and disguised a Turkey to look like their person.
The kids had a great time guessing who was who!

Our Student Council held a bake sale to raise money for St. Linus and some of their projects.
The treats were delicious and the student body helped out by sending in treats to sell.

Our St. Linus Daisy Troop had a very busy Fall.
They went to Lake Katherine and earned their Outdoor Nature Badge.
They learned all about leave no trace and to be environmental stewards.

Here are some of our 4th Graders working on an assignment in Library.
Maggie Tierney, Mara Kennedy and Leah Pearce
hard at work on a paper about how to use the library.

Congratulations to our Varsity Soccer Team on winning the Championship!
Way to go Hawks!

Mrs. Schifferdecker’s Students would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!
Here they are posing in front of their Trees of Thanks!
This was wonderful way to have the students recall all the things they have to be thankful for!

Our 8th Graders participated in a Scholastic Bowl at St. Laurence High School.
They did an outstanding job and represented St. Linus very well!
Our team is Jake Weimer, Griffin Dunaway, Lorenzo Kelly, Nia Imala and Ava Little.

This year we welcomed 20 new Altar Servers from 5-8 Grade.
We are so proud of their commitment to the church and St. Linus in particular.

Our students love working on their character building skills
during Friendzy classes as part of our Religion Lessons.

Here are Mrs. Schifferdecker’s 3rd Graders showing off one of their projects.

In Spanish class, the middle school students have been learning about the
Mexican tradition of remembering the deceased “El Dia de Los Muertos”.

In Religion, they have been learning about the importance of praying for our deceased family
and friends. We will continue to pray for them during the month of November.

On October 27, 2023, the Pope asked us to celebrate
Peace with praying, fasting and good works.

Here at School we had a beautiful Prayer Service where our students,
teachers and parishioners all prayed for Peace under the direction of Fr. Mark.
The students made posters that displayed their wishes for Peace in the world,
our community and their hearts.

We had our annual Veteran’s Assembly and our new Music teacher, Mrs. Gorski
dusted off the St. Linus chimes and had our 7th Grade Students
perform three patriotic songs for our student body, our Veterans and our guests.
It was a beautiful Assembly. A hearty thank you to all who prepared the event and to our Veterans!
