In May our 6th graders took a trip to Standard Bank Stadium
to see the Thunderbolts play baseball!

It was a beautiful Spring day and the Thunderbolts won the game.
Our 6th graders had a great time!

After the second graders did a brief study of archeology and paleontology,
we tried our hand at excavating for artifacts and fossils (chocolate chips and m+m's!).
The fossil hunters pictured here are: Gabby Navarro and Madelyn Smith!

Our 5th graders had their DARE graduation at the end of May.
The students read wonderful essays that they wrote about what the DARE program meant to them.
Thank you to Officer Cummings for another great program.

On Mother’s Day at 10:30 am Mass we celebrated our May Crowning!
It was a beautiful event with so many of our parish families in attendance.
Here are 8th graders Natalie Polzin, Alyssa Romo and Emily Hennessy doing the honors.

Our 3rd graders took their annual trip back in time to The Naper Settlement!
The students enjoyed learning about how things were done in the in “the olden days”.

Our 1st graders celebrated Mother’s Day at their annual Mother’s Day Tea!
Many of the Mom’s said this was their favorite event of the year! Happy Mother’s Day Moms!

Here's a sampling of the book reports done by the Second Graders in Room 6.
The students read biographies of famous people, then wrote a summary
about that person and also depicted what the person looks like.

Holly Maka from Kindergarten, Room 13,
working on an addition problem with our classroom Britelinks.

Our Hawky Tonk was a big success! This fundraiser helps to fund our Fine Arts Program.
It keeps the music playing at St. Linus. It was a beautiful night for a party.
Thank you to all our parishioners who supported us either by
sponsoring, attending, volunteering or praying for our success!
A good time was had by all. Hope to see you next year!

Alan Treto and Andrew Mucksavage competed in the
Worth Township Spelling Bee.
They did a great job and received certificates for their hard work.
Congratulations boys!

Students in Kindergarten Room 16 love learning about the lifecycle of a plant.
Here is Emily Klimek holding up her Plant worksheet.

Our 3, 4, and 5 grade students participated in our annual Spring Concert.
This year’s theme was Broadway Musicals and the students sang songs from
Hamilton, Hairspray and Wicked to name a few.
They sang, danced and played instruments.
What a talented group we have. Thanks to Mrs. Brodsky!
