Mrs. O’Connell’s 2nd Grade Class is participating with students worldwide
in the Mathletics March Math Challenge.
We are working as a team to earn activity and live mathletics points.
In the first week of this fun competition our class earned over 27,000 points!

We had a very productive weekend in sports bringing home
numerous trophies and medals for both boys basketball and girls volleyball!

To go along with their unit on Animals, 3rd Grade got to create
a new animal creature that could survive in our new world we created!
They had to figure out what it’s name would be, traits it would have, adaptations, and a weakness.

Congratulations to our 7th Grade Girls Volleyball Team.
They came in 4th in the St. Al’s tournament with only 5 players.
The Fab 5 did a great job this season and we look forward to what they will do as 8th Graders.
All of our teams had a very successful weekend!

We are so proud of the way they have played all season! Congratulations Boys!
On Ash Wednesday our school community received ashes
from our newly confirmed eighth grade students. It was a beautiful prayer service.
Congratulations to Rudy Perez and Sofia Duenas.
Their essays about a Christian leader who inspires them were chosen
and they represented St. Linus at the SCC Christian Leadership Award Ceremony.
