The Fourth and Fifth Grade ended the school year
with a field trip to the Little Red School House.

They hiked on Old Oak Trail and visited with many animals.
They really enjoyed the fish and turtles.
Here is Mrs. Minarik and some 5th Graders enjoying the rare nice day!

Congratulations to the Kindergarten Class of 2019!
Here they are singing their hearts out during the graduation program.
Thanks to Mrs. Keelan, Mrs. Revis, Mrs. Romo and Mrs. Newman for a lovely ceremony.

Seventh Grade had a chance to practice being lawyers!
After completing their study of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet in Literature class,
they were assigned to either prosecute or defend
Romeo, Friar Lawrence, or Tybalt for their actions in the play.

Here is our Student Government for the 2019-2020 School Year.
These are the Student Council and NJHS officers who will be leaders for the rest of the school.
We are looking forward to doing great things next year.

Here is Ms. Goldsmith our Librarian with Matthew Brennan (4th Grade) and Ellie Bruton (5th Grade)
who had the most Accelerated Reader points in the whole school.
Ellie had 364.7 pts. and Matt had 255.2 pts. Way to go!!

Here is 1st Grade with their teachers Mrs. Kelly and Ms. Reynolds
at the end of the year picnic.

Once again we had perfect weather and a good time was had by all.
There were jumpies, face painting, hot dogs and softball. Something for everyone.
Have a great summer.

Jonathan Moran and his sister Elizabeth rode to school in style on the front of a fire truck.
Jonathan won the Oak Lawn Fire Department Coloring book contest to earn this prize!
Way to go Jonathan.

This is Maddie Perz, Natalie Nolan and Julianna Sweiss getting their volcano ready to erupt.
