Officer Cummings brought Officer Mitchell and Dogger
to show the students how the K-9 unit trains a German shepherd to sniff out drugs,
and listen to the commands of his trainer. It was informative and fun for the children.

Kindergarten Room 16 using the interactive Bright Links
to practice their tally marks, and sight words.

Our 2nd Graders won the Indoor Soccer Championship at St. Gerald.
They beat St. Patricia 3-1. A big thank you to our coaches and parents for a great season.
Wonderful job 2nd grade. It was a great weekend to be a Hawk!

7th Grade is working on their 2nd Trimester research project!
They are learning about different religions around the world by comparing them to Catholicism.

The 4th and 5th Graders were part of a STEM Science class, and when finished were treated to
an Open Practice with the Blackhawks.
Liam Greene caught a Blackhawks shirt. It was a great time.

Second Graders Ella Kokaska, Jake Weimar and Josie Gardner participated in the
school wide Baby Bottle project by collecting coins
to benefit organizations that support newborns and their mothers.

The students in 2nd Grade celebrated Valentine’s Day with a party.
Thanks to all the mom’s who helped out with all of our Valentine’s Day parties!

Bishop Rojas conferred the Sacrament of Confirmation
on our 8th graders last week during the snowstorm.

Here is Johnny “Ambrose” Dillon and some of his family with
Fr. Mark and Bishop Rojas after the mass.

Our 7th Graders are hard at work sanding some chairs during Art Class
that will be painted by our students and auctioned off at the “Hawky Tonk” in May.
Each grade will put their own stamp on the chairs with their own theme.

Here is one of our many Science Fair projects.
All of 8th grade participated in the 2018 Science Fair
and displayed their projects during our Open House.

During Catholic Schools Week our wonderful FTC sponsored a visit from Staley the Bear!
Staley gave us a presentation on good nutrition and how to live a healthy lifestyle!

During our Catholic Schools Week Mass Jim Pappas ‘78 and Chris McGinnis ‘76
were named Distinguished Graduates for 2018.

Jim and Chris are wonderful examples of who we want our graduates to become.
