Heart of the School at this year’s Catholic Schools Week Mass!
Way to go Mrs. Delisi!

This year during Pro Life month our students and their families
participated in a Baby Bottle Project. The project raised money for a Women’s Center
that helps women and babies in crisis. 75% of our students returned the filled bottles to school.
Kindergarteners, Luke Walczak, Lorenzo Kelly, Nia Imala
and Ella Kokaska pose with their donations.

Our 1st Graders from Room 4 were very happy to have received their
ashes during a prayer service at church on Ash Wednesday.

Our 8th Graders who were confirmed at the end of January gave us the
Blessing of the Throat during our Mass on the feast of St. Blaisé.

6th Graders, Kian Culkin, Jack Mallon, Tommy Boland and Sammy McNamara
using their Think-Pads to conduct scientific research during Mr. P’s science class.

Kindergarten celebrated the 100th day of school by dressing up as 100 year olds.
The students and teachers looked fantastic!

7th grade students love working together to learn grammar on our new Interactive whiteboard.
Students use hands on techniques to correct sentences and complete grammar assignments.

Fifth grader, Cairo Carillo, donated his time this past weekend to handing out water bottles
to the people of Flint, Michigan. Cairo, along with his dad, uncle, and cousins,
passed out over 4,000 bottles of water to the people of Flint.
The fact that Cairo is just 11 years old, and already exhibiting traits such as compassion
and empathy towards others is to be commended.
Mrs. Minarik is proud to have Cairo as a student in her class.

4th Graders using the iPads to research the Ten Commandments during their Library time.

1st Grade Room 4 and their Readers Theatre performance of
“Flowers in January” Students

3 Year Old Preschool
