3rd Grade started their Plant Unit in Science!
The 3rd Graders did a mini research project on a plant and also drew a diagram of it!
Ask them which plant they studied and have them tell you about it!

We had Preschool Grinch Day!
All the preschoolers dressed up as the Grinch or the Who’s or the dog!
They also did crafts, played games and watched the Grinch movie! What a great day!

4th Grade Science has been having a lot of fun with electricity.
They have been building their own parallel and series circuits.
They also have been experimenting with a variety of items to hypothesize
if they are conductors or insulators.
Here’s our very own scientists, Jack, Jake, Lorenzo, Nate and Michael!

Our 3rd and 4th Grade Students presented our Annual Christmas Pageant
that tells the story of the birth of our Lord, Jesus.
Once again a wonderful job was done by all.
Thanks to all the parishioners who came out to support us.

Boys Basketball and Girls Volleyball are in full swing.
Many of our students play sports throughout the school year.
Here is Danny O’Grady watching one of his shots go in.

We had Breakfast with Santa for our PreK and Kindergarten Students.
A big thank you to FTC and our NJHS elves for doing such a great job.
The kids not only met Santa but also had treats and played games and did crafts.
A good time was had by all.

Our Second Graders in Ms. O’Connell’s class made Advent Chains
that display acts of kindness that they can do for others during this holy Advent Season.

Our 4-8 Band Students participated in the Band Concert at Mother McAuley.
We have 20 students in band this year and they are under the direction of our very own Mrs. Keelan.
Our students have the opportunity to perform with 4 other grammar schools.
Here is Patrick Mucksavage playing his clarinet during the concert.

Our K-2nd Grade Students presented their Christmas Concert
under the direction of our Music Teacher, Mrs. Keelan.

They sang festive songs and performed a movement piece from the Nutcracker Suite!
We had a full house for this fun and festive event.

One of our parents, Mr. Clarke, presented an Hour of Code to our students.
Almost the whole student body participated throughout the day.
Our Junior High Students helped our primary students. It was a great experience for all!

Our PreK 3 and 4 year olds kicked off our Christmas Season with their wonderful concert!
They sang fun Christmas songs as well as songs about the Baby Jesus.
This is a great way to celebrate Christmas.

The students performed a reenactment of Juan Diego meeting Our Lady of Guadalupe!
The students performed the roles of Juan Diego, the Bishop, the narrator and of course Our Lady.
The little children presented roses to Our Lady.
It was beautifully performed and a lovely way to commemorate the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Right before Thanksgiving our Student Council and NJHS officers
greeted our parents in the drop off line with hot chocolate and a great big thank you.

We wanted to show them how much we appreciate them and all they do.

Our Sacramental Buddies had their first get-together
so they could meet each other and begin to help each other prepare for their upcoming sacraments.

Mrs. O'Connell's 2nd Grade Class has published a book! It is called
Elves on Break: A Collection of Letters from Santa's Elves.
We are so excited and proud!
