The preschool St. Paddy's Day parade was fantastic.
Everyone enjoyed seeing our preschoolers in their leprechaun hats and shaking their Irish maracas.

The 4th graders were in literature circles and would meet periodically to discuss the plot,
main characters, and their predictions for the group’s chosen novel.

Here is 3rd grade and Kindergarten in all their Irish finery practicing singing in music class.
3rd grade is preparing for their Spring concert!

Here is Mrs. Schifferdecker’s 3rd grade class showing off the beautiful
Peace Posters that they made to promote peace and non-violence in our world.
This was part of our Peace Prayer Service that the 2-8th graders attended on
a Wednesday to honor and pray for all those who have lost their lives to violence.

Here is a picture of Bobby in Room 15 writing our spelling words
in alphabetical order on the Bright Link.
The students enjoy working with technology and working together on assignments.

Ms. Walsh’s 1st graders made a Peace Poster as well.
They traced their hands and displayed them on a Poster that read “Lending a hand for Peace”.
We are so proud of all of our students lifting their voices in prayer!

Congratulations to 5 of our students for receiving an award from Dan Lipinski’s office.
They are being honored for their strong academics and community involvement.
Jack Lundy, Katie Pawlecki, Gina Czochara, Ethan Green, and not pictured Brendan Kenny.

St. Linus had a float in the South Side Irish Parade.
It was a great turnout of families.
Here is Lauren Hughes, Mila Chavosky and Elle Kennedy hanging out on the float.

Here is Jack Lundy in Science Class
at the Bright Link working on balancing equations.

Derek Drag from Kindergarten Room 16 using the Bright Links
to fill in missing sight words and find punctuation marks in our morning message.

In 6th grade we are currently working on a Shark Tank project
and I had them create three different logos and then make a questionnaire
on Google Forms to send to everyone in class. They turned out really great!

Every Friday at 2 pm the students participate in the Stations of the Cross.
Each week a different grade level takes charge of presenting the Stations.
This is the week that 7th grade was in charge.
It is a very moving service and we love to have members of the Parish join us.
